ED 564 - Effective Literacy Assessment and InterventionCredits: 3
This course builds students’ abilities to examine various diagnostic literacy methods, the theoretical foundations for these practices, and practical applications for classroom teachers. Emphasis is placed on selecting and administering appropriate literacy assessments, analyzing assessment data, and designing appropriate instructional interventions for students experiencing difficulty with reading and writing.
Note: This course requires students to conduct related practice in their own school or specified field settings.
