The University reserves the right to change a curriculum to meet professional standards. Substitutions are accepted on an individual basis with the approval of the Dean, Registrar, and Chief Academic Officer. Students who receive transfer credit for BSM 131  or BSB 141 -BSB 142 , must have taken an equivalent course that includes a laboratory. Students must take required nursing courses in the specified sequence.


General Education Curriculum: (38-39 Semester Hours)

Total Hours Required for a BSN degree: 128 Semester Hours


For each nursing course with an accompanying clinical course (NU 329 , NU 330 , NU 350 , NU 351 , NU 352 , NU 428 , NU 429 , NU 454 , NU 455 ) a grade of C or above is required in the theory course with a minimum grade of C in the associated clinical course in order to progress. If this does not occur, both the theory and the clinical course must be retaken together.


It is recommended that Columbus (prelicensure) BSN students take MA 113

It is recommended that students wishing to continue to graduate school take MA 123
